We’ve loved Doo-Ri Chung’s label, Doo.Ri, since it first hit the runway for Fall 2003. After she scooped up the CFDA award for emerging talent in womenswear in 2006, we realized we weren’t the only ones.
Over the seasons Doo.Ri has consistently presented us with beautiful , wearable clothes that somehow manage to combine amazing drape with structured architecture in a way that makes all of the label’s collections unique and instantly recognizable.
Though the label has experimented with pops of color and playful prints in the past , for the fall 2011 season it keeping things clean, wowing us with muted , subdued hues and simple, sleek sophistication; while still managing to introduce a little touch of texture and volume.
This refined and subtle collection reminds us why we love Doo.Ri; classic sophistication and beautiful silhouettes.
