When shopping international online stores, there may be times when a merchant won’t accept your preferred method of payment. You might think this means you can’t complete your purchase, but that’s where Borderlinx steps in. As a member, you can take advantage of our Personal Concierge service and pay for the items want, anyway you want.
How does Personal Concierge service work?
With our Personal Concierge service, a Borderlinx concierge agent will make a purchase for you on your behalf when an online store can’t or won’t accept your payment card. Here’s what to do when you run into this issue:
- Open a new browser, and log in to your Borderlinx account. Locate “Make a Concierge order” in the upper right side of your dashboard.
- Fill out the order form, providing us with details about the store and the item.
- Borderlinx will head over to the online store you’ve requested and place the order for you within 48 hours. You’ll be notified of the process every step of the way.
Can I still use any promo codes I have?
Yep! Just make sure to tell us what promo code you would like to use and a Borderlinx representative will make sure to apply that when placing your order. Enter this information in the “Special instruction” box.
How much does it cost?
To use the Personal Concierge service, your item must have a minimum total value of $10. We then charge a 5% fee of the total value of your item.
Can I edit an order after it’s been placed?
Unfortunately, no. Once you place the order with us, that’s it. Just make sure to carefully review all the information you entered on the form before you click on “Place order.”
